I came across The Daily Coyote - a blogsite by writer and photographer Shreve Stockton, who adopted an orphaned 10-day-old coyote after his parents were shot for killing sheep.
The blog is filled with the most beautiful photographs and as I read/looked through it, I discovered that Shreve has another blogsite, Vespa Vagabond, which recounts her solo ride from San Francisco to New York city on a Vespa scooter. Stunning photographs and a unique life...

Cynthia Kenyon, director of the Hillblom Center for the Biology of Aging at the University of California, has tinkered with the genes of roundworms and increased their life expectancy (normally 20 days) to 144 days. What's more, the roundworms in the research are moving and looking like young worms.
Editors note: Does that mean that in the future, someone will tinker with our own genes and we'll end up living to... (quick calculation) 560+ years? (And would you want to?)
