Never say die...
Cynthia Kenyon, director of the Hillblom Center for the Biology of Aging at the University of California, has tinkered with the genes of roundworms and increased their life expectancy (normally 20 days) to 144 days. What's more, the roundworms in the research are moving and looking like young worms.
Editors note: Does that mean that in the future, someone will tinker with our own genes and we'll end up living to... (quick calculation) 560+ years? (And would you want to?)
Find out what's going on in the pursuit of longevity in this Newsweek article.

I'm much more concerned about quality of life that longevity. To live a long time just for the sake of length doesn't interest me.
