I'm currently re-reading The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron - a fabulous book about unlocking (and understanding) your latent creativity. If you don't think of yourself as being particularly creative, you might find Julia's exercise for sleuthing out long-forgotten creative memories and 'misplaced fragments of yourself' useful. Just complete the following phrases and see what comes up for you:

And I can wholeheartedly recommend The Artist's Way - if it doesn't make you more creative, I don't know what will!
