I overslept this morning. I was disappointed to wake up and discover that it was 4.30 am - I usually like to wake up around 4 am (3.30 am in the summer months!).
Early morning is the best time of the day for me. It's quiet. It feels like I'm the only person awake in the whole world and, even though I'm self-employed, that time is MY time. I'm not meant to be working. I'm not feeling guilty about not working. I can do what I want - read, surf the net and enjoy my cup of mocha, without feeling the pressure or need to do anything else.
I realize that the fact that I enjoy getting up at 4 am makes me fairly unique - and this was confirmed when I read an article yesterday which claims that the average Brit 'sets the alarm for 6.47 am but doesn't get up until 7.12 am'.
So what about you? What makes you unique or unusual? What do you do that's not considered 'normal'? Leave a comment below...
